Sending a gift to my sister in Sweden and she had to pay $40 to be able to get it delivered. I don't know what was included in that amount, but it's wrong.
All the paperwork attached to the parcel clearly said it was a gift!!Parcel Monkey replied on 24/07/2024

I’m really sorry to hear about the unexpected charge your sister faced. I understand how frustrating it must be, especially when you’ve clearly marked it as a gift. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over customs fees, as these are set by the local government and are outside of our or the courier's control. Declaring something as a gift doesn’t always exempt it from these charges. We genuinely wish we could do more to help in these situations.

Awful service

Terrible service and will not use again. Paid for 5 day service and it it took 2 weeks meaning my daughter moved overseas without an item that had personal value.
