Expedited shipping means the package will be sent via a fast courier service such as with DHL or FedEx, whilst you can also get expedited shipping via the USPS using their premium delivery services such as Priority Mail.

If you book expedited shipping, the package will be shipped more quickly as your items will be prioritized over other items, making it ideal for important or time-sensitive shipments.

How long does expedited shipping take?

Expedited shipping for those with a package to be delivered in the same country can expect delivery as quickly as the Next Day. Expedited services can ensure your package is delivered the very next morning using services such as USPS Priority Express, available to book through our shipping calculator.

Domestic expedited shipping improves delivery speed as it beats the standard shipping time of three or more working days, so any Overnight or Express shipping service can be considered expedited.

Expedited shipping to overseas destinations obviously takes a little longer but you can book expedited couriers to handle international delivery in 1-2 days using premium express couriers such as DHL Express.

Cheaper international expedited delivery services take 2-5 days and more often than not they will arrive in a shipping time closer to 2 days to major locations, making them great value for money.

We have a huge selection of expedited services for shipping to destinations around the world. Major destinations can be shipped to more quickly as they have better infrastructure. We take all of the required customs information in the booking process, so you just have to choose the most suitable service for your package.

• International Drop Off - drop off at FedEx store, who then ship in 2-5 days

• USA Express International - pick up by FedEx, delivered by DHL in 2-5 days. Available at a cheaper rate if you book and drop off at FedEx store.

• DHL Express - pick up by DHL - shipped in 1-3 days to major locations

• USPS Priority Mail International - drop at Post Office, shipped in 3-6 days 

What is the difference between standard and expedited shipping?

Transit time.

Standard shipping services are where your package will be sent at a normal rate using Ground services or tracked mail solutions, whereas expedited deliveries are sent quickly using the fastest possible methods, making it more useful for retailers or small businesses who need to get their items shipped quickly.

You pay a little extra for expedited shipping service, but the service is premium and more speedy. Not all packages required expedited shipping, you can often save on shipping costs using more economical tracked mail or ground shipping methods, especially for heavy items. 

Expedited shipping tracking

When you book a premium expedited courier service, you will be able to track your package in full. There will be multiple scans on the package as it goes through various steps on its way to delivery, so you can share this information with the recipient to improve customer experience.

The Parcel Monkey shipment number can be used on our site and we will show all the tracking events the couriers report back to us, whilst you can also take a note of the tracking number on the shipping labels and track directly on the courier website.
