Blindsided with additional charges and delays

I was shipping a 9x9x3 box to ecuador from the us. It cost me nearly $80. On the delivery date, someone reached out to me for "additional details on the recipient" which I provided. For the next TWO WEEKS the package was held in Limbo and I was asked to provide the same information several times. Then they say that the package is ready to deliver, but there is an additional $65 due on delivery. The process was frustrating and I ended up spending $145 and the package was 2 weeks late. I never should have trusted UPS, and will not be making the same mistake again.

I’ve used Parcel Monkey numerous times to ship all over the world, it’s been excellent every time.
The UPS WorldWide Expedited service is always solid and delivers on time, or early.
