UPS Utterly Poor Service

I am retracting my review. UPS damaged my following shipments. I paid to have the recipient sign on delivery. This did not happen. The driver threw two boxes in the backyard. One was damaged- had a hole from the outside in like someone kicked it. The third box was not delivered, but it had said it was on the way. I think the driver damaged the third box also. I had to pay import taxes. It was not listed as damaged when it went through customs or when it was given to the local delivery driver. Therefore, the local delivery driver must have damaged it. Still waiting for UPS to send the damaged box as it had family photos in it.

What a joke...

I would rate a "0" if I could. Package is being shipped from St. Louis to U.K. It leaves St. Louis and goes west...yeah, new geography. Shortest route from St. Louis to London must be via Asia. Package has been sitting in Torrance, CA since July 23rd. Filed a claim and UPS says that it won't pay...even though I paid insurance. Parcel Monkey is trying to help but it's probably the last time I ship international with UPS. What a joke.
